On Saturday, February 15, 2003, we held an auction for Cystinosis at Westwood on Lake Washington as part of our Sweethearts' Hot Air Balloon Rally and Cystinosis Fundraiser. We raised $915 for Cystinosis. Since Tuesday, Feb. 18 was Dan's 40th Birthday, we had his birthday party at the lake. Here are a couple pictures from the auction. I am also including a picture of David that we took after his surgery. David had surgery Sunday evening, February 16, 2003. They took out his appendix and operated on some appendages that he had on his intestines. It took about 2 1/2 hours for the surgery. He got out of the hospital after 8 days and is doing excellent right now.
