THANK YOU STUDENTS OF EASTSIDE HIGH

AND THE MOST GENEROUS COMMUNITIES OF
TAYLOR & GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA

CYSTINOSIS - YOU'RE GOIN' DOWN! !

We are so proud to announce to all that the Eastside High School in Taylor, South Carolina has raised $47,200 for Dr. Thoene's very important work trying to develop the model mouse. We are thrilled, and these amazing students did all this in one week. We feel so blessed that the students and community cared so much for our children. Each year the students of Eastside High have a competition with a rival high school. They both choose an Organization to fundraise for. During a one week period the student body, raises awareness and funds for their choosen charity. We are so grateful that this year the student body of Eastside High choose Cystinosis to raise awareness and funds for research. Cystinosis is now a household word in Taylor, and Greenville, South Carolina. We also would like thank Frankie & JT, parents of Laura (with cystinosis) and Christopher for their persistance.

We know that you are as overwhelmed as we are. Frankie said that their rallying cry was CYSTINOSIS YOU ARE GOING DOWN. Perhaps this is a rallying cry we should all adopt.
If any of our friends and members would like to send a thank you note to the students of Eastside High, here is the address to send them to:
