Saturday, February 14, we held our second live
auction out at Westwood on Lake Washington. The auction raised $1390. We
auctioned off a couple Brooks & Dunn concert tickets & also a couple
afghans made by a grandmother of a boy with Cystinosis! Thanks for all of the
donations which made the auction a success! A special thanks to Charlie &
Mary Fredrickson who donated their auction skills for the evening!
We
had four balloons fly this year. Raphael Pantin in Fireball from Owatonna, MN,
Ed Smisek in Sunny Side Up from Burnsville, MN, Corey Gaddis in Hugs-n- Kisses
from Hartford, SD & Daniel Reuter in Starburst of Destiny from Mapleton,
MN.
We had 3 Cystinosis Families attend the rally this year: The
Reuters, Daniel & Holly with children, David, Bethany, Tresa & Shawn,
Jill Kaus, (mom of Taylor) and Charlotte Anderson, (grandmother to Damon),
Damon & their family.
